Don't worry about popularity and shit. That stuff doesn't matter. You just want some good, supportive friends. Do your best in school, and try to see things from the teachers' perspectives.

Joining groups, clubs, and teams can be beneficial in multiple ways, if that's your kind of thing. I'm sure you'll do great once school starts up again. π

I'm going Into grade 6, second year of middle school. All you need to worry about is having a small amount of friends and keeping your grades up. Since I was the most popular person in the grade I had to deal with a lot of fake people pretending to be my friends and using me for popularity. If you do get popular block out the asses and keep your grades up. I managed to not get a single C or D in my report card. Good luck

The first school year should be hell, but if it's all good, then you'll have one extra year to feel happy. 7th and 8th are better because you'll know people unlike 6th. I think 8th grade is especially sad because it'll probably be the last time you'd see some of your friends, since you'll be moving to high school. Now that's a scary thought.

@NatureLover. Thanks! My sister is going to 8th grade. We're going to the same school but she's just gonna show me around. Not anything else, really.
