Who should be praised more: artists or athletes?

Artist while yes athletes are good to an extent you got all these young kid's wanting to be this world wide famous athlete and not focusing enough on the beauty of art also many of those kid's will never make it maybe cause they aren't good enough of because the been injured either way athletes will only be remembered for a long kinda short period of time when I say long but yet short I mean they'll be remembered but for up to 10-20 year's and that's if they are good but if they are what you consider the best they'll still be remembered just not as long as artist will while an artist can be remembered for century's

I really do not think they should equally be praised one is a whole lot better than the other just cause and athlete is good at catching and kicking a fucking ball sure as hell doesn't make them equal.

When you mean artist do you mean like actor's,singer's that sort of stuff or artist like Leonardo Da Vinci you if you mean actors and singer's than yes both athlete's and actors and singer's etc. etc.should be treated equally but if you mean artist like Leo and Bruce Lee than hell no they should not be equal and yes I consider Bruce Lee and artist on the same level as Leo all though he was a movie star to me he was more of an artist

And yes I do know that artist such as singer's and actors would be put in the same categogry as Leo and Bruce and many many more are much better

I think that artists take a lot of time to refine their skills and have a lot of passion for what they do, but they don't put blood, sweat and tears into what they do like athletes do. Some athletes risk brain damage because of they're love for the game, some will spend hours and hours a day intensely training, ya know? Although I see what you're saying too... Hmmm

Sometimes they're both! A dancer is an athlete and an artist. A sculptor may have to use some muscle to finish their creation. Sports people do things in a beautiful way sometimes. Athletes and artists are both hard workers I think.
