Have you ever had a lucid dream? Comment about it if it was particularly awesome

apparently they're different levels to lucid dreaming 1. You know it's a dream, but you can't control the dream 2. You know it's a dream and you can walk around freely, but can't control what's happening around you 3. You can make things happen/appear/disappear in your dream and are eventually God in your dream universe 4. You have an out of body experience where you can see yourself sleeping and the things going on around you/happening to you

I've lucid dreamt before but I've only ever known that I was dreaming, I could never control chiz, which would be awesome

@Amazingly__Perfect It's when you know you're dreaming and sometimes can change what happens in your dream. So you could be dreaming about being chased by a serial killer then go "wait, I don't like this" and change your dream so that you're flying through Candy Land eating chocolate

I had one hen I was thirteen

pretty much my ex boyfriend and his friend were taking pictures of me half naked and made my dream self kiss him. Next thing I know he is hugging and kissing me and I felt great. When I went to school the next day,(this was in real life) he wanted me back.

Yup I had dream about being in a stair well in a building & overhead was a big swirling fire above me this was about 3 years before 9/11

Do you guys have sound in your dreams? I just recently found out that that is common and I don't have it. But It never changes how realistic my dreams are. I was once a lizard chef. Fucking awesome.

But I can't remember if my food was shitty or not. Don't think I ever made it to Iron Chef. :(

@AnonymousToAnExtent I have few dreams with actual plot/things happening that make sense in any way. I remember one where I was snowboarding on top of the wires of ski lifts which was pretty cool, one where I took part in a murder of this bad guy I know (this one was really weird; there was a talking cat and a mineshaft), one where I was back in my elementary school and instead of walking I levitated horizontally and kinda just floated around, one where I was at a party desperately scavenging for something to drink but there was nothing and the faucets didn't work (this was after I was sick with a stomach bug and passed out on the ground dehydrated) and then the rest of my dreams in the past like 2 years were random sights/noises/scenes/things that had massive plot holes and multiple things happening at once and were really, really hazy

i used to have a dream in which i was being chased and i was running downstairs i suddenly would be goin very slowly and i had to force myself to keep moving. As if time was slowing down but they were miving the same

My recent dreams are quite boring. I remember one from a while ago and for hours it was just me and this girl sat talking in the school corridor or walking around the school just chatting

I had one recently I think. I don't remember all of it because it was really long and sometimes things that happen wash over me. But anyways it was like at a mix of my elementary and middle schools and there was a witch lady in control and I was leading a revolt against her. Also there was a part where I had an anxiety attack over a little thing and I tried to deal with it like I would in real life.

Darn my comment was too long. But yes, yes I have had lucid dreams. It was pretty recent actually.

Personally, I think the witch lady represented the school system. Then again, that night I had watched The Wizard Of Oz with my family. A lot of what happens during the day contributes to my dreams.

@Sarah Fuck the school system. And yea, that movie is probably why there was a witch lol. My dreams are almost never affected by my day which is a bit odd especially considering the amount of time I spend watching Dateline, Criminal Minds, that kinda shiz that gives normal people nightmares

@👑MirandaKnowsWhat'sUp👑 lol. Weird thing is idk the reason behind most of the dream. Like there was a part where I freaked out over pants and a shirt (I needed to have them match) and nothing in my day was like that. Dreams are so weird.

*shrug* maybe your subconscious is just telling you not to worry in general, or it could mean literally nothing and just be completely random

Oh I looked in a dream dictionary. Dreaming about pants has to do with questioning your role in something. It also can relate to something sexual (I really hope that wasn't the case in my dream).

I like how most people put yes. Even though it is very hard to go into A lucid dream. I almost went into sleep paralysis.

When trying to lucid dream. It was very spooky. My heart started beating really hard and I couldn't move. I snapped out of it, but that makes me never want to try it again.
