first of all i'd have to hear about the place. If i was looking for a place during holidays, i'd use the internet and look there for suggestions

Yeah. Like you select a place and ask to locals whatever you want.

it could work but if it's a new app, there wouldn't be many people downloading it at the start so it would be hard to find someone who lived in ur area to talk to

Although, an app which would include chatrooms discussing food & wine (fine dining) would be a good start. Then over time u could add a feature which allows people to go into local chatrooms

Right. Your questions are addressed to local twitter users who are able (and willing) to answer

u'd have to get them to agree to be reached through the app which means they would have to download the app in the first place so u can acces their location and get in touch with them

That would need a lot of advertising or pushing through other games

U could look at fine dining pages, see the type of people ur aiming to reach, message them for feedback on ur app and see if they would be interested in that kind of thing

Not really. You can get in touch with users you don't know through twitter... what if I told you the app already exists? Would you like to give it a try?

its a good concept but im not sure if it'd work with more rural areas. For example. How many people from Shrewsbury would i be able to talk to about restaurants in the area?
