Do you consider yourself a feminist?

i support equality and i think feminism only tries to get rights for women and i think women are more privileged in our society

feminists believe that men and women should have EQUAL rights. Women are not privileged just because people fight for their rights.

then why dont feminists campaign on behalf of men? Why do feminists stand up for men when they are wronged? The majority of feminists do want equality but i dont think that feminism is the way forward

Men had more rights than women, and in some countries, still do. Women have always been seen as weaker and useless, whereas men have always been seen as dominant and strong. Feminists just believe that women's rights should be up to the same standards as men's.

and i believe that men should have the same rights as women have. I've never seen a feminist say a man should have more rights over his own child. Have you?

and dont get me wrong things were awful for women and still are in third world countries, however in OUR society i believe women have it better overall.

i know there are aspects of our society which still favour men, wrongly, might i add. But I believe that overall in our society women have it better from what i've seen and understood

alright, that's your opinion, but personally I think that some men have it better than some women and some women have it better than some men. Either way, I believe that men and women should have it the same.

same which is why i think that feminism is no longer the way forward for equality since they only focus on female rights. What we need is one movement on behalf of men and women or a movement for male rights to work alongside the feminist movement to polish the edges of our society

okay, I get that, but women are still seen as less than men and that's why people fight for women's rights and not men's. Men have more rights than women in a lot of places, and people want to change that. They jut want to make sure women have the same amount of rights as men before they start fighting for any rights that men don't have or whatever

Maybe. But I don't really get why you guys are 'annoyed ' (I don't think that's the right word but oh well) that women are just standing up for their rights

we aren't annoyed as much as frustrated since men are assumed the guilty party now

you're not a guilty party at all. All feminists are doing is saying that women should have the same right as men. That's it. Feminists don't hate men or whatever, we literally are just standing up for our rights
