I have kids. I do spank them using " pops". That's a last resort for me, and I pretty much never have to go there. I talk to them first, ground them second, pop them last. I was spanked as a child, and I'm very normal as an adult. I would never harm my kids. The mere fact that they could get pops is enough for them to be well behaved. I've seen ALOT of kids that act out and are extremely disrespectful. I believe if they had a whooping , they'd straiten right up. IMO, lack of corporal punishment is the problem with our youth today. I'm not here to preach, as we all have our own beliefs, BUT, my God tells me to " Beatest the child, for they shall not die". I interpret that as whooping your kids butt won't kill them.
