Do you believe there should be a national holiday for homosexuals called 'gay day?'

gay means "guys liking guys" it is not to be used as a broad term to describe all homosexuals....I believe that LGBTA day is better

@JakeTheDog(THB) I guess everyone has stereotypes about everyone else. Perhaps instead of making holidays we could try to teach people to be more understanding. If only that were possible.

@a person I think we need to start young, when it comes to teaching. There should be more stuff about manners and acceptance in the younger grades- not the cliche "no bullying" but actual life lessons and stuff.

The thing is kids don't need to be taught how to be nice- little kids are accepting of like everything- they need to not be taught how to be judgmental in the first place by example. And don't let kids on the Internet for as long as possible. The internet has too much hate.

I would absolutely love to have a 'Native American day' over a 'gay day'. I think they deserve it more. After all, they lost countless lives. The not straight community was just sad.

He was the one who started the Trail of tears. Also with the natives. Man, the natives have gone through some hell! My grandmother was a Taino Indian. Literally straight from the mountains. I'm Hispanic if that doesn't ring a bell.

Puerto Rican. ;-) and I totally respect the natives. I think they are a beautiful and spiritual people. And I enjoyed the way they ran things. Had their solid farms and culture. Expect the sacrificing of people every time there was a new chief...
