Why does it bother people when their grammar gets corrected?

Anyways... I think the grammar nazis on here would like for people to explain what's so bad about making sure someone's message is clear.

I'll comment now so if anyone actually does explain it I'll know. There's also there, their, and they're; and it irritates me when people write "loose" instead of lose. Loose is the opposite of tight. Lose means you lost something.

Because they think they are always right and that they are perfect so when people correct them they realize that they were wrong and get annoyed.
