You can't just force it to go away. Someone close to me was diagnosed with schizophrenia, and if she could make it go away, she would.

No not at all. Someone can't help if they go crazy. No one can truly control anything. Especially their own mind. You can't choose what happens to you and what you see. Stuff can affect you. Like if you hear voices in your head. How do you control that? You can't.

Nope. I've tried to get some of this weird mental illness of mine to go away, and it never works. You can't control it, unfortunetly.

If you have a mental illness then no. You can't control it. But if you don't you can try to keep a positive view on things and see the good side. But really, no, you can't.

I don't think people were really thinking about it, or have little to no experience with mental disorders.

well I really hope the ignorant people educate themselves on the matter because a lot of people deal with mental health problems and should be understood and not blamed for it

Fact is: people who are not somehow a little fucked up in the head don't understand us, and that's why they think that's all just our imagination and a way to get attention. That's why they vote for yes.
