Can you choose to love/not love someone, or does is just happen?

Love is a feeling. Because sometimes you love someone you didn't know you loved or aren't supposed to. Or you don't love someone you should such as family or someone close to you.

Depends. It's a feeling, but you can try to force it to happen or not happen. It depends on the kind of love. Is it blind, lusty love?-because you can break away from that.

You can't choose to love someone. You can't force love. Falling out of love is just a consequence of actions that made your feelings fade, as much as falling in love is a consequences of weird coincidences from bumping into a stranger to falling in love with that person.

you can learn to like something and from like it could develop into love so you could argue that you made yourself love it in the way you gave yourself an opportunity to love something

Love is a feeling. I really can't choose to love someone. trust me, I've tried. You can bond with someone and maybe grow to love them but if that doesn't work then you just don't love that person and probably never will.
