What's a quinceanera

@aminah111111222222 its when a Mexican girl turns 15 and they have a huge party for her. It's kinda like a sweet sixteen but way bigger. Then she chooses seven boys and seven girls and we do dances. It's kinda like she is getting married.

@Skyler yeah exactly skyler are you having a quinseñera or are you American or something? When I'm 15 I'm having one it's going to be awesome lol loud music big pink fluffy dress but idk.

@Skyler it's not just for Mexicans it's all Hispanics I'm Dominican and we celebrate our 15th b-day with a quinceanera. Mine's going to be at Walt Disney world and I'm gonna wear a beauty and the beast crown. Cause it's my fav movie

And it's usually 15 boys and 15 girls to symbolize that ur turning fifteen

@Miranda true it is for everyone to celebrate but there's also a sweet 16 for other people that aren't Mexicans my mom told me all 15 Mexican girls in Mexico or where ever there at celebrate it just like you we'll celebrate you're sweet 16 but a quinceñera is so much bigger.

@Skyler they don't need 7 of each gender. She can have just all boys or all girls. My mom wants me to ha e all boys.
