Absolutely not. You get so many more details in the book. The experience is so much better because you get to make the book what you want and imagine what it is while you're reading it. Yeah, you would be disappointed when the movie isn't as good but a good book can change the way you live. You wouldn't want to compare the book to the movie, when you saw the movie first. I'm a big reader in case you couldn't already tell lol.
