What do you think I should do if this guy asks me out and I feel sorry for him but I don't like him?

make it clear that you don't want to be in a relationship but that you do want to be friends

Let him know that you dont like him like that and that you want to be friends. But say it in a nice way to him.

@Ashlee Marie, @shera, and @julianna, he will not want to be friends with you, he will probably just go along with it, but deeply resent you more and more, saying "lets just be friends" is the worst thing you can say to someone

Oh trust me hun, I know how this feels. Just ask to be friends and if he's a jerk that won't leave you alone and says "I want to be more than friends" then say "Best friends?!😆". he will get the idea that you don't really like him in that way. I hope 😊

There is no reason to lead him on, but also don't be rude.
