@theFIST the ENTIRE problem with kids and teens today is no one wants to whoop their ass. The Holy Bible reads "Beatest the child, for they shall not die." I rarely have to whoop my kids because they respect me. Without fear or respect, what do you have? I'll tell you, an out of control child!

@MeetMindy it is completely impossible to respect someone you fear. Ok, they act the way you want them to because you terrorized them into it, that is just obedience, not intelligent whatsoever. @theFIST Listen, I don't have to "terrorize" my kids to get them to listen, behave, or succeed. I have already told you , I rarely have to spank them. All they have to know is if they act up in school, or disobey me, that is an option. Just them knowing that is enough for them to think twice about their decisions. In this house we give 10 pops for severe actions, like acting up in school, while a good talking to may be in order for other actions. And as far as it being "Impossible to respect someone you fear", that's ludicrous. I fear God, and I respect His word. That's how I run my home, and my life. My kids are SCARED to DISRESPECT my word because there will be consequences to their actions.
