This isn't harming the animal, nor is it cruelty in any way. Holding it in a bun isn't doing anything to it. However as a vegan I don't like animals portrayed this way...

So to answer your question, no it isn't bad for it or cruelty, but it is portraying "wiener dogs" suggestively
