Why does it say waiting for validation?/: please comment

it does it when you post picture questions because it needs to check if you post inappropriate things or not

I think it means there are no votes on the question. If the question has no votes it usually doesn't show in your profile and there aren't any votes or comments on it. It will still say "waiting for validation if you vote on your own question
