What is your punishment method?

I'm only 11 and my mom spanks me when I get in trouble

I think physical punishment is wrong

Our kids love their toys, and taking their toys away will make them hate us more. First I scold them, then I explain the reasons. I never spank. They listen and getting better. We don't have a TV.

you shouldn't spank kids it's horrid you should put them in time out and then if they don't calm down take their favourite toy away or no tv !!!!SPANKING IS WRONG!!!!!

i don't think there is anything wrong with spanking. Kids these days think they can get away woth whatever they want. Saying that parents cant "abuse" them. There is a line between abuse and disciplining them. My dad hasnt had to spank me too many times growing up but fuck, when he grabbed the belt i got fucking scared. I learned not to fuck with my parents. Thats how it should be done. Not this being soft on your kids.. But its just my opinion :)

I agree. Spanking is okay...but it depends on the parent. Some parents get carried away though and that's a whole different story. My parents didn't spank me often, but when they did it was obvious that they hated to do that. That being said, it definitely didn't teach me to be a violent person. I respect and love my parents and am thankful that they didn't let me turn into a brat who couldn't care less about others or myself.

The reason the kids are outta control today is a severe lack of discipline. The bible said it best; "Beatest the child, for they shall not die." I whoop my kids, and because I do I am respected, they make A's & B's, and are great kids. I barely even have to whoop them because they respect me.

Without fear OR respect, you have a outta control child!
