Why wouldn't it be right? If they were interested in your crush then they have every right to date them as you. Now, if they were doing this solely in spite of you, that would be a different matter.

everyone has a right to date anyone. Just because you like them, doesn't mean they are your property.

If you choose not to pursue them, then it's on you. It's fine if your friend wants to take him/her on a date. Try not to let it affect your friendship. It's happened before 😔

I mean it's one thing to let your friend know you like someone, but if you fail to do anything about what you are feeling then it doesn't matter.

of course even if it makes you jealous it's their life they make their own decisions
