I guess it depends on the lifestyle you were raised in. If you've always been a healthy eater, then yes, it's easy. But if you're growing into it then of course it'd be a bit difficult because of the temptations of reverting back into your old ways.

Not only can it be seen as difficult due to the lack of parents raising their kids with healthier food choices, but healthier foods cost more. In this economy, people are starting to want two things: time and money. It takes a long time to prepare a healthier meal than it would take to heat up something from the freezer. It also cost more to shop for ingredients. In this time period where everything is rising, it's difficult to stay healthy whether you have self control or not

Miz, I agree with you on many points, and they're well thought out. However, research is starting to show that it can actually cost LESS to eat healthy, when you figure in healthcare costs, etc., and when you consider the amount of food one can get one cooks from scratch. Frozen ready meals, yes, can actually cost more than a meal made from scratch. ...

As for the time factor, cooking large batches in advance can save a ton of time AND money. Careful planning works wonders there. Also it is astonishing how much time we can lose watching TV or on "social" media. Spending time w kids making healthy, from scratch food is good for everyone...
