Do you think if the gay marriage bill for New York passes, it will be a step up for equality?

@Emmanuel Bellity, just because you love someone that is the same sex as you, doesn't make you gay

the statement of the law, it should always be considered law is meant for the whole, and not meant for a few, so with laws you must always consider: "if I make this legal, what consequences would come if everyone starts doing it?" If prostitution would become legal, the problem is not in regulation, rather that in the depreciation of society as a whole! If? Homosexuality is standard for society, it is enough to consider humanity would be extinct, and would cease to exist in the lapse of a generation. Homosexuality is a sin, and the consequence is evident in two ways, prejudice and hate against homosexuals is a bigger sin for Christians, i'm against homosexuality, human beings we are, and considering life cannot progress in our own terms "homosexuality" or by our own means, we should fear GOD, and go back to our old ways, where we knew about GOD, and the love of GOD.

All of you who say "being wrong is gay", tell me why. And do NOT give me a reason that has to do with religion or it being gross. Give me a full civilized reason.

@Nicki if God existed? How can He not exist, if God is in your thought, you can only think about God in relevance to the thought of God, it is a fact, we have all been given to perceive the things that surround us, and ever since we are capable of thinking the word GOD has been present. How can we conjure up something so amazing, and so beyond our mind, if we don't perceive it from what surrounds us, the Heavens shout His glory, and GOD has always been the center of human thought, until the late 18th century when humans believed they are.

@Christina H. Being gay is not correct, is it the way we have survived throughout generations? It's enough to say if everyone embraced homosexuality into their life, human beings wouldn't live to see another generations, or to see their kids grow up, or to have babies for that matter. Homosexuality is as much a sin as adultery, and other acts of sexual immorality, no one has the right to condemn gays without having open arms to love them and talk to them about mercy. The whole point of God's Word is the salvation of all people, but, if people will choose drugs over God, or stealing, or any other thing over God, then they choose their reward. If a law is going to be implemented, the people should consider, what would happen if everyone uses their benefit of the law, legal right, which is why marihuana is still banned, and other acts are prohibited, because laws are not made for the convenience of a little group, but for the benefit of the whole, though, the laws should treat gays as well as straight people.

i had problems, i used to watch porn all the time, I used to drink alcohol every day, I used to smoke and take pills, I used inhalants, and listened to satanic rap music for a year straight, but God saved me from all these, and the experience God has given me throughout my life, and through salvation, is more than enough to believe in the hope of all people and in the righteousness of God, whom will do exactly as His Word says, count me among the old-fashioned, I believe in God, and I am not a part of the secular movement, God is true to His word, and I will have my lot with Him.

@Jonathan Alexis I said to give me a reason that doesn't include the bible or god. The reasons you gave me were all that its a sin or that god thinks its incorrect. Now just pretend that god thinks its alright. Would you agree with it or would it still be disgusting?

If you don't believe in God, it is impossible to believe in a moral law, because no logic in the world, and atheists have thought about this, can give morality meaning. Richard dawkins meditated on good and evil and he thought evil might not even exist! If that is what you believe, then God is not part of your belief. If you believe in God, then you must accept God established what is good and evil with a moral code: the point of reference would be transcendent, if not, there is no way to define good and evil. There is an order in life which is in harmony with the morals God established: everyone has a conscience. In the case of homosexuality, it's a sin, but the whole point of the Gospel, is salvation from sins, not condemnation: in this case homosexuals are sinners as much as any who needs to receive the grace of Jesus Christ, the emphasis should be on the grace of God. The way God justifies sinners through the death of Jesus. The order I told you about: if every human being embraced homosexuality into their life, the whole human race would be extinct, and they would not be able to live for one more generation. If homosexuality is correct, then why does it have consequences such as these. Why not? Then why do we face the consequences? If there is no moral code, then should we have consequences for doing what we want? If it isn't evil should it have any consequence? That's not the way we perceive things, and the only way we can perceive a moral code is through God.

@Jonathan Alexis Did you say that without religion people don't have morals or did I misconstrue what you meant to say? Because if that's so, that sir is bullshit. And making it legal for homosexuals to get married isn't going to make to entire world go gay, that's insanity. Don't worry, the human race will keep going after gays have their full rights.
