Why can't guys be bestfriends with girls?

I have a best guy friend I liked him then I stopped we txt every morning he likes my BFF's he is a trouble maker

most girls just want to be able to talk about girl things with girls they don't want a guy to know and then the word get out

They can be friends but sometimes things happens when I was young all my friends were boys when I was in grade 2 or 3 my best friend Dylan began to like me he never told me but everyone else did but we were still close but I didn't like him that way but then he moved away and in grade 5 my I began to like my best friend so sometimes boys and girls can't be friends things get different and in grade 4 I liked the new guy we were like best friends then we dated and we didn't talk till grade 6 then now grade8 I don't even look at him and everyone is always saying we're the perfect Match and were soulmates but were not even friends anymore
