really don't see how gay is a gene, when two people of the same sex cannot produce children. So not gene can be passed to insure that your child will be gay or straight. I really do think being gay is a choice. But you're not sure that it's a choice and you believe that you born the way. As for religion, I believe that I will have an eternal paradise after death instead of rotting in the ground for eternity. And giving up you problems and struggles to someone who can handle it makes life a lot better.
