You know how some people say that God is what determines right from wrong not people, and some people don't understand how its possible for atheists to have morals (which is stupid af)? Well Einstein is saying that the only thing that determines morality and ethics are people themselves, there's no universal right and wrong and no higher authority that determines this. I'm not sure about this one. If there is a god, it kinda has a right to decide the moral guidelines since it knows literally everything and created people in the first place. If there isn't a god then there isn't some universal consensus on morality, it's all personal opinions, so us humans, the most intelligent species we know of make our own morals and they usually overlap with each other's on obvious shit such as "murder for no reason is bad", and those overlaps are the lines we draw between right and wrong I'm only half making sense today so sorry if I'm not making blabbering about BS lol
