My boyfriend of over a year broke up with me. I feel worthless. Please anyone. Does this get better? Help.

I think you need a friend to help you guys get back together, but if you don't do it yourself it's never gonna work.. That's what my sister would say.. If you want to tell your friend, then ask him/her. But if you wanna do it alone, then go to your ex- boyfriend's house and ring the doorbell or knock on the door to see if anyone's there. If his parent or opens the door, just say," I'm here for____." Whatever his name is. And if they let you in, the go upstairs to his room and knock on the door if his door is closed. And maybe you wanna talk about your relationship with him. But if he doesn't want to get back together with you, then you could be friends with him. And of he doesn't wanna be your friend or boyfriend then I'm sorry! Just carry on!

It does get better! People assume that when they break up with someone they love it's the end of the world, but it's not! You can, and will, love more than one person in your lifetime. You'll probably even have a stronger, happier love. You'll heal, move on, and find someone new eventually, It just takes time. Sadly, there's no quick fix :/ Meanwhile, try to surround yourself with friends and people who make you feel amazing and special, and keep your mind occupied with other things like work, art, writing, tv, reading, /anything/ that keeps your mind off him. And don't ever convince yourself you're worthless.... I hate that word when it's being falsely used to describe people. NO ONE is worthless. We all have something unique to offer the universe and people who need us around.
