A little... Are you really two years apart, or is it just 1 and half years? Because that makes a difference. Also, are you one or two grades apart

@Jessica yeah.. We are two grades apart. We aren't dating yet better were getting there. I'm just not sure I can completely trust a 16yr old boy.. He might have other ambitions

A
at that age, yeah, it makes a difference. it's not necessarily bad, just something to factor in. I dated a 19-year-old when I was 16, and that was bad news. 14 is just on the cusp of childhood...

A two year difference is completely fine in relationships between adults, but probably not young adults (teens). The trust and maturity in your relationship may not be may not be very strong.

I don't think there's a problem, my cousin is dating a 16 year old and she's 14, but they have known each other for years. If you think you know them well enough than I think that it's ok. I would just be mindful. Boys at that age might pressure you into doing things that your not ready for so be careful

Age IS just a number. My grandpa is three years younger than my grandma and they are fine. If you like this guy it shouldn't matter what his age is as long as you two are into each other (not literally).

I feel that it's not really a good idea but it's mainly what you think if it's a good idea or bad idea!!

Stick with the 2 year rule 👍 Until you get older like 25 then it doesn't matter too much

You have to take your age, divide it by two, and then add seven to it to see if someone is too young for you

just think about it like this if you met when you where 7 and he was like 9 so would you date someone that 9 and your 7 think about it like that.

Again-when you're teens, 2 years is probably the biggest gap that's acceptable because teens are maturing and there's different levels.
