Yes. The south can use some other flag as a symbol of their pride. That flag is also a symbol and a reminder of a bad part of history in our country, one full of bigotry. They shouldn't be proud of that
Yes. Will all due respect to the residents of South Carolina, having that flag up reminds us of one of our worst wars. People need to respect that the union won the civil war, and equal rights have been fulfilled. That can't be changed at this point. Things have changed, and even if you don't want to, they must except that things have changed
@Bird insane But I don't think you should make them take it down legally. That's a violation of their rights as Americans. I think it could be discouraged, but you can't force someone not to display something like a flag.
@JakeTheDog(THB) well it should be inside the state house for that. We only need the American flag and the state flag not the state flag,American flag, AND the confederate flag. The problem is that racist have twisted the meaning to hate in blacks. You know the klu klux klan held that flag when they were SLOWLY killing blacks.
