Do you think killing animals for fun is wrong?

I really don't think that people should kill animals just for fun. It's just wrong. 😒

I did an essay on this... Ok, foof! I actually get to use something I did in school! Wow!

Why do people think that humans have more worth than animals? Because we can walk on two legs? Guess what, so can other animals. That's right other animals. We r animals! Imaging a deer coming into your territory and shooting you. It's the same thing.

And for fun? That's wrong if it's for food, still completely unforgettable, but fun?! Wow! What a nerve they must have

actually hunting isn't bad

most people donate the meat to charities

Or needy families

hunters sometimes need the food for their family so don't be so stereotypical My family hunts and uses the meat for us or other families and hunting helps keep the population of animals down so the food chain doesn't get all messed up or say it's a coyote, the prey will go extinct because there are more of it predators then that species

its wrong when its an innocent animal such as the giraffe tho

1. If too many animals are on this Earth, the food will eventually run out. 2. Our ecosystem has to move on, the dead animal may also supply as food for other animals or fetilizer for plants.

We have predators such as wolfs, coyotes, lions, snakes, etc. they are meant to be the killers, not us. Plus they do it out of need. Not out of enjoyment.

People act like it's an awful thing to do. It's not at all. I've read this study that we're killing the ecosystem's normal flow by NOT hunting like we did in history.

@Garnet We don't need people to kill those animals. They will die themselves one way or another. We dont need to help them die. So they will still end up fertilizing the plants. And NATURAL predators usually can keep the population down. Once humans start getting involved we start having endangered animals. Many species are close to EXTINCTION because we think it's fun to kill! And maybe an animal you killed had babies. Those babies died because some selfish person killed their mother! We are no better then these animals! People don't think that the animals they killed will effect anything. Apparently people think they are better then the animals they kill and hey are somehow "helping". Well the fact is: that if we keep on going at this pace and seeing how many kids have games about killing things, in about 100 or so years, we won't have to worry about the earth being overpopulated by animals because all the animals will be extinct. 😒

😒 people who say that it's ok to kill for fun just piss me off. Because it's totally not OK! If an animal kills a person the animal is usually killed, but if a person kills an animal, people think it's perfectly alright. If you are killing animals for actual survival and not just for fun, it's not as bad. But when people kill for fun, it makes me sick!

@Garnet FAM NOB👑 where I live, there is a huge population of deer so, I don't really have a lot against people hunting them. But I know a lot of people who travel to Africa just to kill elephants, lions, zebras, etc. which makes me pretty angry because then they usually chop their heads off and put it on their wall or just skin them and use that skin as a carpet.

it is wrong to hunt for just fun. But if you are actually using the dead animals, like eating it, then I am okay with that.

I don't think it's completely wrong, because it is a very interesting experience. But if it becomes a hobby that you do alot, that's a problem.

if you kill the innocent thing for fun then it's very wrong and cruel. But if you kill something small like a duck and your going to actually eat it then I think it's fine

in my opinion killing is wrong no matter the species. Killing is Killing. I mean if something is attacking you your gonna have to something or you might die. I just don't like killing animals because I am an animal lover and want to be a veterinarian when I get older. Idk who killed this giraffe but I guess they didn't take the giraffes life and family into account before doing this.😭😭😭

@Olaf While that is true, there's often a lot of hunting that is harmful towards ecosystems. Take poaching or baiting, as examples. It only makes animals more endangered.
