How do you feel about safe spaces? (State your reasons why)

It should be a situation where gays, transgenders, different races or people with various religions shouldn't have to go to a certain place to "be" or "feel" safe.

Anyways, they are just human beings and because they are "differnt" doesn't mean that everywhere they go, they aren't "safe". Like I said, they are human, what difference would a safe place even make.

Wait.. So what's not a safe space? Segregation era bathrooms? Aren't people let into restaurants and stuff, regardless of race or gender?
