I'm not trying to judge of course but I am curious as to why people have all these so called "friends" but they aren't even true friends. They suck ass and bring you down. Why is this generation like this? You seem smart. Is it cause this generation is a piece of shit and social media has ruined it😂

@Evuhhh_ It's because snobby people are more confident and popular and have more power. Therefore, people hang out with them to make themselves look/feel more important, despite those people being dicks.

@👑MirandaKnowsWhat'sUp👑 I've never understood why people wanted and tried so hard to be popular. Of course when I was like 12 I was influential and I wanted to be what everyone seems to call "cool" but now that I'm older I see that they're all so rude and fake towards everyone and they're self centered. I have met a few that are actually genuine people but only a handful. True friends are hard to come around but I finally found mine even though it took a long time and a lot of fucked up friendships it was worth it. This generation is going downhill so fast and it's so hard to watch and see happen. It makes us look bad.

@Evuhhh_ It starts off as wanting to fit in and be liked when you're a kid in The Awkward Years. Then those who succeed at becoming popular enjoy the power, feeling of importance, and attention they get because they are popular, so they keep hanging out with other popular people. After a few years they think their popularity is the only reason people like them, it's all they have/know, and it gives them perks, so they stick with it and those dickbag friends, slowly becoming dickbags themselves.

@👑MirandaKnowsWhat'sUp👑 Yeah you're right. I wish I could just give a big long speech and PowerPoint about the importance of generosity and friendship so I can get it through people's minds because they apparently don't get it. Of course some people do but not all and that's what's so sad.

@Evuhhh_ They're figure it out eventually the hard way when they're done college, out in the real world, and no one gives a shit how popular they were so they have to find something else to rely on. Or they won't. I know a few adults who haven't figured that out.

@Massimiliano Unternaehrer Well I mean rich kids often do find jobs I'm their family business or their family has connections and can work things out. Plus rich kids can afford to go to fancy schools, and they have the money to invest. And they can take more risks because they have a safety net and if it doesn't work out they won't be on the streets they'll be in a comfy cosy big ass house. So not really lol. I'm talking more about popularity at this point than wealth tbh.
