Should an illegal immigrant be able to stay in the U.S to be with their U.S citizen child?

They shouldn't have children in the first place, but the foster system is pretty messed up. I chose they should, but would that be of any benefit? A lot of* people come here uneducated looking for a better life, and they end up having children. Those children reproduce and are on welfare, trying to support illegal families, and the poverty continues. Those illegal immigrants are put in jail, and everyone else pays taxes for their living.
