To the asker of the question: it depends. To KarateSinger13 and Kelsy: Why is it wrong other than God? Marriage isn't natural. Only humans get married. Not other animals. So don't say that either.

to be honest I don't think the fact that he lied is troubling you! I think there is some underlying cause in which you are rethinking your decision to marry this person. If you have to question yourself I really think that means you are not willing to marry this person just yet! Whatever the problem is I hope you work it through

If he was unfaithful to you, I suggest counseling and other ways to work through it, if you want to. It really does depend on what this lie is... If he has a pattern of lying, then you have a different major issue to deal with. Gotta be able to trust...
