Hand out the invitations Thursday, and if one of the people you wanted to pass out an invite too isn't at school that day, you have Friday to give it to them. Have the party Saturday, if you want.

As soon as possible so those invited have time to plan for it/not make any other commitments that day. Oh and happy 16th birthday!
