If you buy a pet rat from a pet shop, and this rat can have 12 babies every moth how many rats will you have at the end of 2 years?....

my calculator can't even do that math. You'd have thousands after just a couple of months.

The question is hypothetical, no mate is needed. The situation says a rat CAN have 12 babies a month. But I see how it was a trick question. Well done you got me
