Why do people think society is who runs who is pretty or not

Well society is just the people in your community, really. So society decides who is pretty or not because society is the common opinion, and since everyone follows the popular opinion instead of forming their own, we all have the same general image in our heads of a beautiful person.

When someone takes over a general amount have an idea then the people that have thier own image don't always look inside them self on what their opinion is leaning them towards the general idea that everyone else had in the first place
