What do u do when u love someone but u argue and they say things u know they dont mean and yet u take them to heart?

Relationships shouldn't be full of arguing and stress. Just leave. If it was one bad fight, I'd say to work things out, but since this happens a lot, it's probably not going to stop and hoping it will won't fix anything.
