A@Sarah You're right that he was good at marketing; that is valuable to society in many ways. You should do a google search for a comic called "The Oatmeal" and "Nikola Tesla." Some great history info there.

Kaile_combsfalse...the light bulb was created long before Edison...but he made the current incandescent light bulbs we use...he might not of made the first, but just like any inventor, he improved upon existing ideas.
