🎩Banter🎩in my opinion, no, because in ur society, christian is what would mainly be taught and focused on which isnt fair

SakanaruNo religion is taught in churches

👑MirandaKnowsWhat'sUp👑I think it should be an elective, but they should teach about all different religions, not just one

EthanWe learned about the major religions in 6th grade social studies and 10th grade AP World History, and it's helpful in understanding their culture

Sarah(FAM/PMS)In 7th grade World History we learned about the origins of different religions. And I agree with @Ethan, it was helpful in understanding their culture. I just wish we had gone more in depth.

SakanaruThey never covered religion when I was in school they must've just approved it.

👑MirandaKnowsWhat'sUp👑last year we talked a little but about Hinduism and buddhism which I thought was really interesting

Schultzy6 days a week I have religion and I love it

🎩Banter🎩@HungerGamesFanGirl that must be a nightmare

Sakanaru@HungerGamesFanGirl Scary! Bing bong!🔔😖

👑MirandaKnowsWhat'sUp👑@HungerGamesFanGirl 6 days a week? That's more than we have school days. Jeez. Do they teach you about just one religion or a whole bunch?

Lonesomeghosts I think there should be a special class for that you have to sign up for

ADepends on what you mean by "taught." If you mean broad-spectrum history and philosophy studies that include the history of human belief systems/thought, fine. In fact, great! We should know what different belief-systems have done in this world.

AIf you mean taught as if they are somehow true or right, then absolutely not. That is a violation of separation of church and state, and is an abuse of taxpayer money.

👑MirandaKnowsWhat'sUp👑@A I completely agree 👍

MYsoul-isblack-without-uI think it depends on the religion really. Buddhism is a very neat and amazing religion.
