👑MirandaKnowsWhat'sUp👑it is definitely brainwashing, just saying

👊Duchessjohanna👊I agree. While I support the people who have died for America, I don't think it should be required to say each day. Patriotism should not be imposed.

👑MirandaKnowsWhat'sUp👑I don't think people should be forced to say anything, especially make a pledge. You can't force someone to make a promise, that's screwed up. And the worst part is they don't even tell kids what it means, they just say "Hey! Five year old boy over there, say this pledge that you don't understand every day for the next 13 years of your life!"

👊Duchessjohanna👊@👑MirandaKnowsWhat'sUp👑 exactly. It's completely imposing patriotism. Also, it really stunts kids' ideas of globalization. Like I remember growing up and thinking "oh America is almighty and the rest of the world is poor and hungry." Which isn't true at all.

👑MirandaKnowsWhat'sUp👑@👊Duchessjohanna👊 Me too! XD It gives us a false pride; we have no valid information to make us feel rightly proud about our country, we just think we're the shit because we were told to

#Beatshey at most schools ur not allowed to say it because it says on nation under God

👑MirandaKnowsWhat'sUp👑@#Beats What? Really? I'm my district we have to say it every day

#Beatssame at mine

LonesomeghostsIt IS brainwashing, I don't say it though....everyone else say it but I don't

ADang, your question got cut off. I thought it was gonna say is it ok, to which I answered "no." I refused to say it as a kid, and I wouldn't want my kid to be forced either. it's friggin' creepy. And the "under God" crap has no place in school, period.

SerpentineI don't ever sat it. Nor put my hand on my heart. I just stand at attention.
