NotoriousThis question was inspired by a recent event. I was preparing to fry some chicken. I had the oil in a pot on the stove and had the heat cranked up for a while so the chicken would fry right away obviously.

NotoriousThe pot was slightly turned so I reached for the handle to turn it so that it was symmetrical with the other pots. When my two fingers touched the handle, it took a second to actually feel the sharp pain, but when it happened I quickly removed my hand.

NotoriousMy fingers are now glossed over, red, swollen and the inside of my fingers feels like a small creature is trying to rip them open and is pissing flames. I'm incredibly irritated. Will be rewarded with chicken shortly though. For my bravery.

Sarah(FAM/PMS)When I was like 4, I touched a clothing iron with the back of my finger. I cried, but it wasn't bad. But I have a pinkish burn scar in the shape of a heart on my finger, since my skin was so sensitive then.

SerpentineOne time I was cooking in an oven preheated to 200*. When I leaned over to get the pizza, my cousin tripped over me causing me to burn the side of my left arm.

👑MirandaKnowsWhat'sUp👑it was a little over a year ago. I legit just picked up a ridiculously hot object and casually moved it a decent distance instead of ya know touching it, yelling ouch and removing my hand like a normal person.
