👑MirandaKnowsWhat'sUp👑utilitarianism Pretty much means that the right thing to do is the thing that benefits the most people/has the more overall good outcome So if stealing from someone gave your family food, it's okay because that has more positive than negative elements (assuming the person you stole from had enough food) Tearing down someone's house to make way for a new power plant would be more beneficial to the overall town and future of the town, so it would be considered morally right also.

Some people would say either the 4 people because they have a responsibility/loyalty to the other, or the 4 people because they don't want to lose that 1 person. I'd kill my loved one, assuming I was in an okay state of mind, because that has the better outcome for people overall.

Sarah(FAM/PMS)You see, is either be paralyzed, or I'd walk away. Because if I flipped the switch, then I'd actually be killing someone. If I didn't, I could just be like "oh those poor people, too bad there wasn't anything you could do to stop the train" and I wouldn't have actually done anything to kill anyone.
