Is it ethical to steal money from someone who plans to use it on alcohol, when you struggle to pay rent?

Melancholic Gamer🤕Depends. . . Like if the person is an addict, and you would stop him/her anyway even if you weren't struggling with rent.
👑MirandaKnowsWhat'sUp👑@JakeTheDog🍑THB🍑SBP🍑2 Yea but is taking their money a good way of atop ping an addict in the first place?ehh
99Only when you need it for good things while the other is using it on bad things yes
99For a good purpose
👑MirandaKnowsWhat'sUp👑@Michael Yea but it is something they've worked for and earned, and they have the right to spend it as they wish, whereas you are there just taking it from them for your own good
Melancholic Gamer🤕Yeah, I wasn't necessarliy saying it makes it okay, but it would be a better situation.
👑MirandaKnowsWhat'sUp👑To be honest, I'd say it's alright because it has a more positive effect than a negative one, but I get the other side's opinion as well. I like to throw ideas out there and stir things up lol
Melancholic Gamer🤕Lol. I kinda like to do that too.
NotoriousOh yeeah.
Sarah(FAM/PMS)Lol I probably would if I was struggling.
KayJay😎It's definitely not if they control how much alcohol, but if not, better to encourage and support them in giving up alcohol. It isn't okay to steal from strangers, but ask that person u know to lend u some money.
PenPineappleApplePenIdk maybe if I'm down on my luck living out in the streets I probably would because who knows the Drunk could kill someone driving while under the influence..
CalvnKleinNo, it's still stealing
🎩Banter🎩no
👑MirandaKnowsWhat'sUp👑Im surprised more people said yes on this one...but it is pretty close
noeNo because the addict needs the money himself. Stealing is never ethical and even if you would steal it in order to help him, you're still not in the position to make such decisions.
