BeautifulDisasterwell the Hunger Games book is better than Catching Fire. But the Catching Fire movie is better than The Hunger Games (because of a new director) and you're not a real fan if you haven't read the books

luci_rose@Doctor_Who yeah that's true. My fav is actually mocking jay but usually when I ask people about it most say they haven't read it :,(

ArcaneSeraphPersonally my favorite is Catching Fire, both the movie (so far) (honestly nothing to do with the director) and the book. Hunger Games is not my favorite because I didn't find it's plot as interesting as Catching Fire, and Mockingjay is not my favorite because (spoiler alert) there is a ridiculous amount of deaths. I know this book describes a warfare and that many deaths should be included but they took it way too far. I actually saw movies about world war 1 with less people dying, especially main characters. They just took 95% of the characters you can recognize by their name and killed them. It's realistic, but it's overdone.
