GAMpick one person and talk to them. (The old "imagine them naked" does not work - makes me giggle!)

random strangerJust think about it like who give a **** what they think about you. Just try to think only about what your talking about and make your statement clear. Or I don't know that's just what I do

RReilley i do get nervous! Hate talking in front of a lot of people

carleyxoxoIf a lot of people r sharing your speech probably doesn't matter too too much to them

derailmentsI just think about how much better I'll feel after I'm done speaking.

Tori and katie just be yourself and everyone will love you

ummmm...helloyes, I'm shy in front of crowds

bananayou dont you can't

eminemJust pretend like your talking to yourself ??

crazahunicornTry talking to the wall directly behind the crowd. It may look odd, but if that's what's necessary, then go ahead :) You can also talk to your friend in the crowd.

Galactic55606I do not know how to answer this, I am a good public speaker and I can speak in front of crowds of people, but am afraid while just talking to one person that I care about their opinions, which is not many people. So, I do not know how to answer. Caring what people think is not the most important thing. Being shy is simply being afraid of what other's think of you.

AmonnaIt's mainly confidence, get a wide understanding of what you are talking about and it will expand that.

tambo360erkeep practicing in front of people u know or r comfortable with talking to keep increasing the group u talk to bye 1-2 people so that on the day u r ALOT more comfortable with speaking in front of people! :)

Kayleei can't talk

PrufrockMake yourself confident; imagine one of the "cool" kids you know and try to imitate their apparent indifference and self-confidence

MeIt's fun try it sometime plzzzzz

SwerveNaani14Sometimes

Why So Serious💀sometimes I'm shy

i just ate cakeyou're not in the center of the universe.if you say something or do something awkward, people will forget about it.for example, choose one of your classmates and try to remember something embarrassing they once did.can't do it?thats because they don't think about you 24/7.go on youtube and type in wellcast.they have a video on that.hope this helps.

💋BabyGurl💋Sumtimes it depends who im speakn in front of if its friends den imma b laughn

shan xxx ❤️💜💙i get super nervous and say the wrong thing but everyone forgets after about 10 mins so not worth you time worrying about but if you still do just try and chill out

LucyPractice what you're going to say ahead of time. Know it backwards and forwards. Wear appropriate clothes that make you feel confident. (Don't go formal unless the occasion demands it.) Tricks about imagining everyone naked have never worked for me; just talk loud enough for people in the back to hear you, and try to make eye contact with people, briefly. Practicing all the time is key to sounding comfortable instead of shaky. (And according to my speech prof, it is important to pee first.)

Natasia VenturaPractice what you're gonna say first, that way you won't be nervous.

SabrinaTake deep breaths

Sarah(FAM/PMS)Practice, practice, practice and try to not be so serious about it (I mean like, in your head, don't worry about it)

noeI don't know cause I am always terrified to speak in front of many people.

Kaile_combs You suffer from speech anxiety...they have classes for that...but in my experience...the best way to do it, is to keep calm, and just act like your talking to yourself...that is what always worked with me, but people with speech anxiety need to figure out what works best for them...what works for one, may not work for others.
