Amanda FechnerBecause of the suns reflections on the water in the air. It makes the sky blue.

BVB_loverit reflects of the water. That's why it's blue.

Star RoseA clear cloudless day-time sky is blue because molecules in the air scatter blue light from the sun more than they scatter red light. When we look towards the sun at sunset, we see red and orange colours because the blue light has been scattered out and away from the line of sight.

Star Rosebut I understand how some people would think it's the waters reflection, but think about this, what about if the water is grey and dirty, like the Hudson near where I live, the sky doesn't turn all grey, it's more like the water turns blue because of the sky
