If he wants a serious relationship and if it works out then you will marry pretty young which usually doesn't work out because you will change a lot as you mature, and that's usually how people grow apart. Maybe when this girl is 22 and the guy is 27, it won't be a big deal because they will both be adults, both in their twenties.
