...Greece and sparta had a battle with persia on the plains of marathon and they won of course and they sent a messenger back to athens i cant remember his name i think it was pericles but he ran 26 miles form marathon to athens and announce 'nike' or victory in greek nike means victory so thats where u get ur nike shoes from and ur 26 mile marathon im not sure if i got it all right but itsclose enough i gota bad memory just google it or somethin if u want correct names and locations and dates but i think it was around 500 AD
