Many people would become depressed after realizing something they've based their lives on is a lie, theocracies (or whatever governments that are linked to religion are called) would be destroyed, many people would lose hope for a better future, some people would be discouraged to do good deeds, large parts of many places' cultures would be lost, I bet there'd be a lot of fits and shit about it and conspiracies, so what I'm trying to say is: shit would hit the fan
