So it's unlikely that a God that can destroy two cities completely without any remains and turn a woman into a pillar of salt and can turn water into wine and heal any kind of disease including death can create the universe that he can obviously control? How is that logical. The way I see it, u ether believe in God or u don't and I believe because a cosmos creating its self out of nothing over billions of years is simply impossible.

matreechiWhy would the bible say 6 days if it really ment millions. It doesn't do that any where else? And y couldn't an all powerful god create all this in 6 days. I believe he could have done it in one.

And I'm saying the 6 days could just be a metaphor, to explain to us how life developed in a simple way. And the quote that states since God is infinite, a thousand years is a day to him, backs up that theory.

The whole verse is: Now, dear friends, do not let this one thing escape your notice, that a single day is like a thousand years with the Lord and a thousand years are like a single day. (2 Peter 3:8 NET) the bible also says that God is incapable of doing evil and that lying is evil. It's in the Ten Commandments. And the bible is the word of God therefor it would have to be literal would it not?

People wrote what prophets said God wants, stories, what they've learned from stories, and quotes. And it was translated so many times we don't know if any of the stuff in it is actually accurate

matreechithe originals are still out there. And unlike today, back then they took translation very seriously so I wouldn't doubt the authenticity. All I'm saying is that God and macroevelution contradict each other. And I don't understand the logic of believing in both at the same time
