🎩Banter🎩well god told adam and eve not to eat the apple because it contained knowledge of good and evil. This means god was trying to keep us from knowledge

🎩Banter🎩What it could be is the devil doesnt tempt people but gave them the ability to identify good and evil. This means he doesnt push them to it, it just means he made us aware of what we're doing is good and wrong therefore possibly influencing our decisions towards good

The choices were already in front of us, but without Satan we deny the unholy choices and chose the better paths. Satan makes us want make decisions that are immoral in the eyes of God

By making man eat the apple he made us aware of good and evil therefore aware of if what we were doing was wrong

What if he also wants an absolute dictatorship but with the morals flip flopped? What if he wants to take God's place as dictator, and to make everything God stands for to be banned, and all the things God hates to be prevalent? Then they are in a sense the same

AshleyHow about neither exist? There is no hard proof of any god or even satan for that matter, unless someone dies and comes back with hard evidence of heaven/hell/god/etc I believe that neither exist
