If you have a show that's that successful and has such devoted fans that theyll still be talking about it years later, you should make it a real show, like one that comes on every week or so, not a demishow or whatever the call it. It's an opportunity to become a huge hit and make a shitton of money, why wouldn't you? Sure, the episodes are pretty long but you can just take the main plot from the actual books, so it should take over 2 years to write. And yea, they have other acting jobs, but they wouldn't /need/ other acting jobs if they had a steady job with Sherlock. End rant.
